BAGS

  • HANDWOVEN — CARGO PACKING STRIPS: Handwash with warm, soapy water. For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled brush. Rinse well with clear water to remove any soapy residue, and air dry.
  • HANDWOVEN — MENGKUANG: Gently vacuum (using the fabric or upholstery brush attachment) or brush away dust & dirt trapped in the crevices of the woven strips. Spot clean soiled areas by gently rubbing the stain (with the grain) with a cotton swab/toothbrush dipped in mild soapy water. Do not overwet. Wipe down well with a clean damp cloth to remove any soapy residue, and air dry away from direct sunlight.
  • STORAGE: Store white & pastel bags in old pillowcases or dust bags so they’ll remain dust- and smudge-free when not in use.

JEWELRY

  • GEMSTONES — AMETHYST, JADE, LAPIS LAZULI, QUARTZ, SODALITE, TIGER’S EYE: Spot clean gently with a soft cloth/cotton swab and soapy water. Wipe down well with a clean damp cloth to remove any soapy residue, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh detergents and chemical, ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
  • GEMSTONES — SERPENTINE: Spot clean gently with a soft cloth/cotton swab and warm water, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh detergents and chemical, ultrasonic or steam cleaners. Serpentine is rather soft & fragile and should be protected from rough wearing and harsh weathering conditions.
  • COMPONENT — WAXED THREAD: Spot clean with a sponge and room temperature water, lightly brushing away any debris. For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled brush, then let the piece air dry. Do not apply heat to dry, use soap or scrub with abrasive materials — this can damage the cuff and compromise the waxy sheen.
  • WEAR & STORAGE: Remove jewelry before vigorous exercise, sports or household chores. Store jewelry separately, inside a fabric-lined box or pouch, to avoid scratches.

CLOTHING

  • COTTON — ORGANIC, HAND BLOCK: Machine-wash in cold water & delicate/gentle settings, with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Do not mix dark colors with light ones for the first few washes, in case of dye bleed. Do not wring. Line dry in the shade (to keep colors from fading) or use the dryer on Air cycle, no heat (heat causes shrinkage). Iron using a cool setting on the reverse side. Do not dry clean.
TIP: When washing prints, turn them inside out during the first few washes. This will help lock in the color.
  • EMBELLISHMENTS: We recommend no heat on the embellishments (beading, sequins, pompoms, tassels).

ACCESSORIES

  • COTTON — BATIK, HAND BLOCK: Hand- or machine-wash in cold water & delicate/gentle settings, with mild detergent. Do not use fabric softener or bleach. Dry-clean using only a non-petroleum based organic cleaner.
